Starting today, all merchandise in my shop, will be offered at a 20% discount. I edited the prices so that the price you see will reflect the discount. I am including the how-to-make-pillows video, but NOT the series. I did have to push back the release date of the pillow DVD, but it will be available in time for Christmas and if all goes according to plan, the first in the series will be coming out the first week of January 2010. I am working on making them available as a download, as well.

ANNOUNCING - MY HOW-TO DVD SERIES!!!

I am so excited to tell you about my latest project. Finally, after years of thinking about it, I am releasing a series of how-to videos. I love the idea of teaching and passing on my knowledge. Sewing is a dying art and I don't want to see it become obsolete.

The first in the series will be How To Make Pillows and will include instructions for making a knife-edge pillow, a self-welted pillow and a ruffled pillow. From cutting out the fabric to making welting and installing a zipper, I will show you, step-by-step, how to do it. I think it makes all the difference if you are shown how to do something. And with your own DVD, you can watch over and over until you get it. Each DVD will be crammed full of tips, shortcuts and ideas to make sewing easier and more enjoyable. You will also be able to e-mail me with specific questions or concerns. Even if you don't sew yourself, this will make a great gift.

GLASS BOTTLE ORNAMENTS

Glass bottle ornaments are available in assorted gift packs. They come packaged in a plastic Chinese food to-go container. The sizes of bottles range from 3 1/4" (the largest) to 1 3/16" (the smallest) and have ribbon hangers. The bottles have dried flowers inside. They look beautiful on a Christmas tree, but are not strictly for the holidays. (I have them hanging on the handles of my kitchen cabinets.)
